Location

of the

C.R.A.R.C.'s Private Reserve

The center is located on the Caribbean foothills of Talamanca, in the small town known as Guayacán, which is located approximately 8 kilometers due south of Siquirres.  The C.R.A.R.C. is located on the National Highway 10, which leads from the Caribbean lowland town of Siquirres to Turrialba.  The center is very easy to get to, being only two hours from the capital city of San Jose, ten minutes from Siquirres, 45 minutes from Turrialba, and an hour from Puerto Limon.  Access from all of these towns is along blacktopped highway.  Sorry, no dusty pothole-filled dirt roads.
